I'm a huge fan of drawing derp faces, in case you haven't noticed. Anyways, I convey a complicated issue in a small illustration often done in a cute style. I'll sketch it out with pencil, and run it over to the staff editorial writers to touch base. I'll figure out what they want to say, and give them a basic explanation of my plans. Then I'm off on my own, armed with a watercolor set or a tablet.
